What personal information we collect and why we collect it
When completing a purchase, the necessary contact information such as first name, last name, address and postal code will be requested to complete a transaction. This is so we know where to send the packages that are purchased. This is stored in the system to confirm that the customer has bought the item, when it was purchased and possibly when returning an/the item. Customer information can be exported at any time upon request. The information can also be removed from the online store’s register. But order information must be stored with us in relation to return, right of withdrawal or other. If possible, we can anonymize the personal information if it is desired by the customer.

We also use IP addresses, but this is only to collect data to count visitor numbers for the online store via Google Analytics. GA also registers which device is used when visiting the online store. IP addresses are anonymized after the analysis of which medium the user uses and location.

We also ask if you want to sign up for our newsletter. This information is only stored on an external database at Mailchimp and not here. When registering, we only need name and email.

When visitors post comments or fill out a contact form on the page, the information entered into the comment form is stored in addition to the IP address of the visitor and the visitor’s browser version. This is done to help avoid junk comments. An anonymous text string generated based on your email address (also called a «hash») can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you have an account there. Gravatar’s privacy statement is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be visible to anyone in connection with your comment.

Our routines for data leaks
In the event of a breach, and should a data leak occur, we have a rule to notify the customer within 48 hours of a data leak being discovered. We want to be open and transparent when it comes to storing customers’ information and want customers’ full trust in storing their precious personal information. Payment information is not stored.

Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce
